We're a local, family-owned plumbing company. We collect only what we need to schedule and do your work, we never sell your information, and you can ask us to delete it any time. That's the whole spirit of this page — the details follow.
What we collect
- Contact & job details — your name, phone, email, service address, and what you tell us about the problem (including photos you send, like a picture of your water heater's data plate).
- Messages — if you message our Facebook or Instagram pages, call, text, or use the chat/booking tools on our website, we keep that conversation so our team can help you and keep a record of the job.
- Payment info — payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- Website basics — standard logs (IP address, browser type) used for security and to keep the site working.
How we use it
- Scheduling, performing, and following up on plumbing and restoration work.
- Sending appointment confirmations, arrival updates, invoices, and estimates.
- Answering your messages — sometimes with an automated assistant first (our "Plunger Pete" bot on Messenger); a real person is always available and takes over on request.
- Asking how we did after a job, with your consent.
What we never do
- We never sell or rent your personal information. Period.
- We never send marketing texts without your consent, and every message tells you how to opt out (reply STOP).
Who we share it with
Only the service providers that make the work possible: Stripe (payments), Supabase (secure data hosting), Twilio (calls/texts), Resend (email), Meta (when you message our Facebook/Instagram pages), and Google (maps/scheduling). Each gets only what it needs to do its job. We'll also share information when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Job and invoice records are kept as long as we're required to for business, warranty, and tax purposes. Conversation history is kept so we have context if you call us again.
Delete your data
Want your personal information deleted — including anything collected through our Facebook or Instagram pages? Email
devin@clogbusterzplumbing.com with the name and phone number you used, or call our office, and say you want your data deleted. We'll confirm and remove your personal information within 30 days, keeping only what the law requires us to retain (like tax records of completed work).
